You are one of the first on the team and shape the product, the architecture and the direction of the company from the start. We are looking for people who make their own decisions, take responsibility for them and want to build the company together with us. Data and AI in mid-sized companies are rarely just a technical question. The most interesting work comes out of the exchange with the people who work with the data every day and know their business best. So we are looking for curious, open-minded colleagues who enjoy engineering and analytics. You talk to the business team as happily as to the management, because you know: the best architecture is worthless if nobody understands what it is good for.
And on the technical side?
Ideally you bring:
- Several years of experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics or software engineering
- Confident in Python/PySpark and SQL; ideally also confident in TypeScript/React and modern data & app frameworks
- Experience with the Databricks platform & at least one cloud ecosystem (AWS or Azure)
- Fluency in modern engineering practices: version control, testing, automation, production deployments
- Experience with LLMs on both sides: integrated into applications and as a natural part of how you work (e.g. Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex)
- A track record of building solutions that connect data pipelines, AI models and user-facing interfaces
- Experience in technical project delivery: scope, timelines, measurable results; all of it with enterprise customers
- Fluent German (the language of our customers), very good English
And above all: pragmatism, ownership and the curiosity to get up to speed quickly in new technologies and customer domains.
