We bring data into practice.

We have delivered data and AI projects in corporations and in mid-sized companies for many years, and we saw far too often how data initiatives peter out without creating lasting value. We founded Lakesights to change that.

Arndt Fuchs

Founder & Managing Director

Arndt is 31 years old, comes from the Oberbergisch region and studied International Business at the Maastricht School of Business and Economics. After roles at an international software company and at a family office, he spent several years in consulting, advising clients worldwide on the strategy and the execution of their digitalization.

After their shared years at the US consulting firm Slalom, he went on to found Lakesights with Oliver Ostermeyer, with the goal of helping mid-sized companies make data-driven decisions.

Outside work his passions are film and literature, Muay Thai, photography and travel. He divides his life between Düsseldorf and Munich.

Oliver Ostermeyer

Founder & Managing Director

Oliver is 32 years old, comes from the Franconia region and studied mechanical engineering and business informatics. Out of that combination of engineering and business, he led data and AI projects for corporations and mid-sized companies for several years, from the architecture of the platform to its use in the business teams.

After their shared years at the US consulting firm Slalom, he went on to found Lakesights with Arndt Fuchs, to bring data platforms to where mid-sized companies actually work with them.

Outside work he finds his balance in sport in the mountains. He is based in Munich.

We work together with experienced advisors.

On top of our own team, we bring in experience from outside. Our advisors hold leadership roles at leading companies and contribute their perspectives to important decisions.
